you'll never guess what I did in bed last night...

I broke one of my golden rules last night (my kids would kill me if they knew - please don't tell them!)...

Normally, my evening routine goes something like this:

Shower, teeth...

Slide under the covers and read until my eyelids get heavy...

Put headphones on and listen to the deep, soothing voice of Davidji - a YouTube meditation creator who sends me to sleep...

But not last night.

I'm not sure what came over me, but I broke my "no scrolling in bed" rule.

And before I knew it, I was on Facebook, whipping out my credit card and spending money (don't tell my husband please, he was reading downstairs, thinking I was having an early night catching up on much needed beauty sleep 🫢).

Anyway, there you go, I admit it: I clicked on an ad and bought a product.

It cost me three dollars...

Three dollars! Hardly anything to write an email about, really 😅

But maybe there is, actually...

You see, Reader, this wasn't an impulse buy.

I must have seen this ad and clicked on it at least ten times...

The ad was compelling and the product was something I wanted...

...and three dollars really isn't much nowadays, is it?

Yet for some reason, I had to see this ad and click on it over and over again before taking out my credit card and jumping in.

Why, I don't exactly know. I've paid coaches four figures for their help without batting an eyelid, so it's not that I'm averse to paying for products or services at all!

Anyway... why am I sharing this rather boring story of my buying behaviour?

Because this is probably why you're not making sales as an affiliate.

I've lost count of how often people tell me things like:

"I sent an email about this and nothing happened"...

or "I wrote a blog post about it and no one clicked the link"...

The thing is, it's not enough to send one email, or make one product review video, or DM a person once...

Your potential customers need to see you and your offers repeatedly.

And when I say repeatedly, I mean REPEATEDLY. They need to see them over and over and over again.

Because they almost certainly won't buy the first time. Or the second. Or the third. Or maybe even the tenth.

We all buy when it's the right time, the right product and the right price. And you, as a marketer, need to catch the moment when it's aligned for the people you serve.

You can only do that if you turn up in their world a lot.

How to turn up a lot - without burning out creating endless content - is one of the things I teach in The Traffic Lab.

It's not complicated, I promise :-)

You can learn it - and begin mastering it - in 30 days.

PS: that three dollars I spent last night was well worth it. I'm actually seriously impressed by the quality of such a low-cost product! This builds massive trust with me, and I'm quite sure I'll buy from this person again.

PPS: building trust and getting repeat buyers is another thing I teach in The Traffic Lab ;-)

"No one wants your pdf!"... "Courses are dead!"... "NOBODY buys courses anymore!"... These are just a few of the headlines I see flying all over the make money online space. We're told that "high ticket is dead", that "everyone wants AI", that "nobody has any money to spend nowadays", and so on and so forth... The list is endless - and I don't know about you, but I find it SO annoying and exhausting. Big gurus with huge followings are constantly throwing these statements out there and making...

Quick reminder, Reader: you're on my list because you wanted to know how my new business ventures worked out. I haven't been in touch for ages, I'm sorry. Short story long: it's not as simple as that... I went all in with creating videos for my Easy And Gluten Free YouTube channel, and that worked well. I...
