two new bread recipes for you 👇

Happy Monday Reader,

Quick email to let you know there are two new videos published on the channel:

I really wish I was a better photographer... my pictures don't do the food justice at all! But I'm just a mum good at cooking gluten free food - not a pro with the camera lol!

Anyway, back to the recipes...

Last week's video shows you how to bake pita bread.

I don't know about you, but I love these little flatbreads - and they make such a nice, easy snack, when you have them with falafel.

We ended up eating them for dinner: I made falafel, added tomatoes, onion and salad... topped the lot with a little yogurt and tahini sauce... and voilà!

Easy, healthy and delicious! Even my picky eater son Ben loved them :-)

After that, I shot a video that shows you how to use buckwheat groats to make a buckwheat only bread loaf.

When I first saw the recipe on social media, I honestly thought "this can't possibly work"...

But then I tried it, and it DID work!

In fact, it did more than just "work"... it's delicious!

The downside of this recipe is there's a lot of soaking time.

First you soak the groats for 12 hours... then you drain them, blend them with fresh water, and then let the batter rest for a further 12 hours, before finally baking the loaf of bread.

You need to do this to create some natural fermentation.

It's dead easy, it's just that it's not an instant recipe.

But it's well worth it, believe me - and it has the advantage of having no yeast, no baking powder, no baking soda... nothing but buckwheat groats, water and salt!

Hope you enjoy them!

Don't hesitate to email me if you have any questions at all.

This week I'll be publishing a video that shows you how to make "Pao de queso". These little cheese balls are totally gluten free, super easy to make, and soooo delicious.

I'll email you when the recipe is up, I promise.

Have a wonderful Monday!

Sophie

I know it's not quite Easter Sunday yet, Reader, but I thought I'd email ahead of time so you don't miss this! If you fancy making some hot cross buns over the Easter weekend, then I have just the recipe for you 👇 I've been making these at Easter for years, and they're a winner in my home. "The taste... Mum! It's so special!" exclaimed my youngest son Ben the other day, when I'd made these for the video. "What is it?" he went on to ask... "I love these spices!" Now if you had ever met Ben,...

Hi Reader, As promised, I'm emailing to let you know that there's a new recipe on the channel... This one shows you how to make delicious gluten free cheese balls. I mean, look at these... don't they look irresistible (even with my poor photography skills lol!)? You can click here to watch the video and get the full recipe. I...
